My dream job

 Hello everyone!

Today I am writing about my childhood dreams.

When I was little I had a little dog that I loved very much, which made me get closer to animals, I always thought about the little dogs in the street and I felt sorry for them, so I wanted to help them all, that's why I wanted to be a veterinarian. After a while I realized that this meant seeing many animals suffer and not always being able to save them, so I resigned myself to that dream.



Now I study psychology, I chose this career in high school and I have not changed my choice, although I have had vocational crises along the way. 


In the future I plan to work in the area of psychology, but I haven't decided which one yet. I would definitely like to be able to combine my work and travel or travel for work.

The salary in my area of work can vary, depending on the country and the area you work in. This is something I also like, as I can find it all over the world. Nowadays, the importance of mental health is on the rise, I guess that will bring recognition to psychologists, affecting their salaries. Although if I think about it, it is clear that I did not enter this career because of the salary, it is something that always bothers me because it is too low haha even so, it fills my heart to know that soon I will be able to practice psychology.

    hii catalina, first of all tell you what a nice relationship you had with your dog and that it made you feel that love for animals. And secondly, i remember that a friend who is studying psychology mentioned to me that with the pandemic the demand for professionals in the mental health area has increased, so cheer up!

    Hello Catalina, how beautiful the motivations you had to be interested in veterinary medicine. You really have to have a lot of heart to dedicate yourself to it. Even so, psychology is a profession that plays a very important role in the well-being of society, it's good that you are happy with your career.

    Hi Catalina! I think that veterinary medicine is a very interesting carreer and I think is very cte that you finally decided to study psichology. I hope that in the future you feel happy about working in the area that you choose.

My Experiences Learning English

 Hi everyone! On this occasion, I'm writing about English as part of my academic syllabus. My experience learning English at university and school has very good, most of time I have had very friendly, kind and nice teachers, wich I appreciate, because a class wtih an  unfriendly teacher becomes eternal and a bit unpleasant haha. Since my first English lesson at universityy I have been writing blogs, wich I like because I think I'm a influencer (and tiktoker but this is other story), although I must admit that sometimes I forget to do them haha sorry about that teacher. I think something I've always struggled with is pronunciation, although I've noticed that embarrasssment has a lot to do whit it  (I confirmed in class) I also finde it hard erite in English, that's my biggest horror haha my " Aquiles heel" Lately I don't have much time to meet people haha but when I worked as a cashier, I had to serve many foreigners and many of them spoke English. Postgraduate Studies

 Hello everyone! Today  I am writing my opinion about postgraduate studies in my career, psychology. Earlier I read about postgraduate studies at various universities, such as Sheffield, Johannesburg and others.  In psychology in particular, I think it is very important to study after university, because the more you specialize in an area like social, clinical, developmental or others is better, even if it is a specific topic such as psychological research methods, in cognitive neuroscience, anxiety, social conflicts, etc. With this specialization you are better prepared to attend to your patients in more specific areas. I think that to make the decision to study for a doctorate or master's degree, you should think about it carefully, since it involves money and time. Personally I would not do it right out of university but I should definitely do it, since psychology is always discovering things, implementing new techniques. Really you never stop learning, as in many other careers.
